The process of free writing is pretty simple but yet very effective. Here's the technique i'm currently using and all i can say is it's extremely effective in getting content written…

Set a countdown timer for a set amount of minutes and just write whatever comes into your head about the particular topic your going to write about. I personally set a timer on my mobile phone for 22 minutes. Don't know why it's specifically 22 minutes it's just a number i've chosen. Just keep writing and don't stop until the time is up…

Do not make any corrections to your writing as you go along, this isn't the point of this technique of writing. The idea is to just keep writing and get your thoughts onto paper or onto your computer screen. If you suddenly get stuck just write something like "i don't know what to write about now" and then wait until your brain starts to work again on the topic your trying to write about…

The idea of this form of writing is basically a complete brain dump on the particular topic you want to discuss. It amazed me the first time i tried it how effective this technique is for getting content written for your blog…

Now once you've been writing for the set amount of minutes and you've done a complete brain dump about the specific topic you wanted to discuss leave what you've written and come back to it in a few hours. What you'll do then is read what you've written down and simply edit your work to include all the best points you wanted to cover..

Some of what you've written down won't make any sense but it doesn't matter
